At a time like this, I really wish I was more active here.

I haven't read enough work from everyone to make any informed guesses. There are a few scripts that I assume to be the work of some of the more experienced writers here, but I won't try to name names. I am looking forward to reading what the regulars think though.

I'll toss out a couple:

Awaiting Heaven:  I think this is Zack, even though nobody gets killed.  I mean, except the talking rat.

Experimental Heros:  I think I recognize Wesley in that one.

Rydale's Prison:  There is alot there that reads like Mr. Z, but oddly, a few things that do not.  I am only about 75% on this one.

Best so far (to me):  Rydale's Prison and Repetition.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

I haven't read Rydale's Prison yet but I think that Z wrote Repetition.

I don't have any guesses yet on the other ones I have read.

Repetition is the best I have read so far (admittedly not as many as I would like but will start catching up) and I am fairly sure it is written by Mark (rc1107).

I might have to check those that were pegged to me. I'm betting those must have some serious grammar mistakes, lol.

I didn't submit anything; just making that clear in case someone wonders why I'm not reviewing so much.

Anyone spoted Abe's work? I'm curious to read that one.

Here's my stab in the dark (appropriate phrasing for a mess of prison stories) and suggest that due to your location across the pond, Stebrown may have done Rydale's Prison...Which, by the way, I liked very much.

I think I know who wrote D'enouement. But other than that, the others are hard to figure out.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Jordan wrote Last Cigarette.  Considering my last guess and since Zack is 99% sure he wrote Rydale Prison, I'm probably wrong.

But if we are at the giving hints stage. I guess that I will hint that the one I wrote was not in the first or last batches and neither John Wayne nor Jim Morrison make an appearance in my script.

I don't have really any guesses, because I liked to be more surprised and focus more on the scripts rather than who wrote them (well, I'm sure everyone does). But I have one guess, and that's that either Bert or Shelton wrote Trapped. Not positive, but I have a feeling that maybe it's one of them.

[EDIT: Okay, so I found out that neither Bert nor Shelton entered in the challenge so I now have no guesses on who wrote what. But most of the entries were really good!]

I'm guessing Sean wrote All Highways Lead Downtown and Zack wrote Never Stop Running due to the horror. I suppose either one could've written the other but Zack's scripts usually have more of a twist ending like in Never Stop Running and I don't think Sean's into typecasting himself as the zombie guy all the time. There're a couple I think Jordan could've written but I'm not positive about any of them. I'll guess Rydale's Prison since it fits into the clues he mentioned about his own script. Anyway, those are my lame guesses. Considering the bulk of these challenges as of late, it's getting harder to pinpoint any writers.

Since I am quite new to this I don't have any guesses, but I am excited to know who wrote what. I know that Zombie Sean is the zombie guy and Zack really likes horror but i don't know much else. It's been great getting feedback, though, and I am dying to post some replies.

I had a long weekend hosting some out-of-towners, but I will get some more reviews going this week.

Congratulations to all, we are all very talented. I just can't wait to do some patting on the back, unless Shelton is going to start talking about my a** again.

I'll give this a shot, despite the fact that I'm not familiar with many of you guys (or your body of work, for that matter):

ABSteel -- "Forsaken Seas"
Wesley -- "Experimental Heroes"
The Boy Who Could Fly -- "Redeemer"
Blakkwolfe -- "The Last Cigarette"
Sean -- "All Highways Lead Downtown"
Sniper -- "Repetition"

I also think that Zack wrote "Rydale's," even though he himself guessed Jordan. Just for kicks.

They're shots in the dark.

Oh, and here's a hint for mine: I was testing out some new formatting styles, and it backfired on me. It's not until I stepped back that I realized what I could eliminate first and foremost.

When are we announcing who actually wrote what? Because I've made a poster for my script and I'd like to post it up here, but I don't want to get in trouble or anything.

But for now, I'll just give a hint. And I don't want to make it easy. Let's try this one: take a look at the message beneath my avatar picture. But don't think too hard, what I'm obsessed with may deceive you.

If that's too easy, well, then it's been a week already, might as well be telling people which script I wrote.

Brains, brains...Might they be brains that mysteriously slide back into its former owners skull after getting slammed to the wall...Hmmmm...

I didn't do Rydales, however I will admit that I pushed the envelope a little too far with a character that seemed like a good idea at the time

I never wrote one in the end.

I was too busy trying to meet Zack's deadline for the Scarefest, he would not let me have an extension to partake in the OWC. Which seems a bit silly now that the Scrarefest still is not posted due to Don (quite rightly) giving focus to the OWC.

Next time I will know better!!

This has been a good OWC..Learned that it's not best to start at 7pm to enter a contest that ends at 12pm (got it in at 10:30)...Was gonna skip, but the story hit me, I liked it and so on...Already working on the rewrite...

On the whole, I think they were good. Some of the formatting across the board seemed off to me, type too small, descriptions too wordy. Some were a little long, some were too short...Spelling errors are gonna happen in a rush situation, but have to watch out for words spell check is gonna miss...There vs They're...

Had some clever interpretations of the genre...Is drama a genre? I think so, though very broad in definition...Steel Magnolias isn't a comedy (although it has some comic moments) nor is Titanic an Action flick (though it did have some action)...

I liked Repetition, but my favorite by a long shot was Omelian Resolution- It was ambitious, literary and deeply symbolic, at least to me..

I'll take responsibilty for one revived dead guy that seemed like a good idea at the time.

Good question, James.

Tonight, the names of the writers will be revealed.  On Monday, I will shoot over to iScript.com three to five scripts.  The folks at iScript.com will read the final scripts and decide which they think best to be recorded.  The overall selection of those 3 to 5 scripts is a mysterious and convoluted process that involves me reading all the scripts and  picking 10 of the scripts I enjoyed most.  I bash that against a list of favorites from a selected group of participants (this time, I asked those folks who read and reviewed a number of the submitted scripts).  I also get input from some of the moderators.  I usually pare that down to five scripts.  I share those five with a couple of the longtime, non-participants who have a chance to give input in the event I missed something.

There are no Florida voters involved in the selection process, right Don? They tend to screw things up.

I'm actually rather excited. I'm glad I participated in this OWC. Odds are that I won't be in the top 5, but that's fine. I got some good feedback on my script (my first submitted for a OWC or to SS), so it was already a positive experience for me.

Also, I'm really looking forward to the discussion once the names are revealed. Fun days ahead.
