I'm sure it is, just meant a top 10 placement vs. a top 20% placement. Just messing around, I'm chuffed

I got to the 2nd round with my TV pilot 'The Survivor' for the 2nd year running but I didn't progress any further.

Not bad though and any 2nd rounder should pat themselves on the back. There were 11,907 entires this year!

So they have announced more than just the second round?

I got an email directly from them which said I hadn't got through to the semis. Last year they telephoned me but this year just an email. I believe the official email with the semi-finalists went out last night. Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks, Mark. Congrats for getting to the second round, that's a ton of entries.

Nothing yet, final 2% seems like a bit of a stretch for the script but we'll see.

Final Draft Big Break, it's another one that has a dedicated historical category so I'm hoping for a semi-final placement at least.

No idea when they are announcing.

I entered five in that one. Hadn't tried it before so thought what the heck.  Semi-finalists to be announced sometime in October

I received my notes for Shaka today. They were pretty middle of the road for the most part, but I thought I'd share this:

Quoted Text
Dialogue: The dialogue is exceptionally strong at capturing the setting and tone of the narrative’s unfolding drama. Each interaction is succinct, expressive, and purposeful, featuring appropriately dramatic lines.

Dave had a very big part in this script, even more so with the dialogue, so props to Dave
