Yep I am done with this thread. It is sad that Bert has had to come into at this point and the script could not be discussed and critiqued without all the BS. Bert, feel free to edit or delete any of my posts as you see fit if there is anything in there that is offensive.

The only loser out of all this is the writer, as his failure to accept feedback will mean nobody will bother reviewing his work. As I was one of only two people to finish the script and provide honest feedback I certainly won't be making that mistake again. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on a script, and if you receive the same feedback from more than one person than it is usually worth taking onboard.

Ultimately it is not the reader's job to make sense of everything in the script, it is the writer's job to make sure the reader will have no problem making sense of it. So as my last post in this thread and a final piece of advice, when you have calmed down enough, go back and actually consider the points that both Tommy and myself made. Be open-minded enough to consider that they must just help your story.

I'm done.

Tim.

I'm done.

That sounds too good to be true.

Thanks for the read, Tim. Whatever your motivations, you did read it and spent time on it, and I do appreciate that. I did overreact to your antagonism and I'm sorry I didn't let it die. Instead, I kept feeding you by complaining about how you seemed to be coming at the script as a way of making an argument. It's your right to argue whatever you wish, and I should have just ignored it.

I really didn't want this to come off this way. Though for a section of it, I was arguing about your specific points, I was moreso trying to point out why it was difficult for me to be inclined to consider them, given my belief that you were just out to argue and didn't pay very close attention to the material. Whether you were or not is your business... again, I should have just ignored it. If nobody else reads this script because of our little spat, then that is perhaps the most regrettable outcome of all this.

I really am fairly good at accepting criticism. If you doubt this, look at my responses to the negative reviews in my other script. My frustration and eventual regrettable responses this time around was that I seemed to get nothing but antagonism from when I first posted in the script exchange section.

So I must end this message. But I do want to apologize for getting this far into it with you. I no longer begrudge you for your comments, but I think it's best for both of us if we stear clear of each other in the future. And if you do have anything else to say on this matter, PLEASE put it in a PM, otherwise this will just start up again.

Sorry for my part in all of this.

-Aaron
