As the Kickstarter draws to a close (6 days left), we have barred past 200+ backers and are sitting just below $30 000AUD!
Thanks again to everyone that supported the campaign, it is very much appreciated.
This is admittedly not overly exciting for anyone other than me but I had a pretty great delivery yesterday. I've started to invest in my own film making gear and the first delivery arrived yesterday. It feels like the start of a very exciting chapter.
Whoa! That would be a VERY exciting delivery. Fun!

We are in the last few hours of the All That You Love Kickstarter and we need your help!
We crushed our funding goal within 2 days and today we cruised past our stretch goal, all that's left is to take the top spot as the most backed Stephen King Dollar Baby short film in Kickstarter history. All that stands between us (currently 2nd) and taking the top spot is 27 more backers.
As I said, we are more than funded, all this is about now is being #1. If you have $1 to spare and want to try be apart of some very minor Stephen King history please jump on board
I keep hitting refresh on the webpage. Looks to me like you did it, right?
If so, CONGRATULATIONS on being #1!!!!
An absolutely amazing achievement.

Thanks, everyone, and thanks for backing the campaign!
I'm completely overwhelmed at the response. Not only did we break the Kickstarter record, we also broke the Indiegogo record and I'm fairly confident we are the most backed Stephen King Dollar Baby in history, period!
We wrapped on All That You Love a couple of days ago and it was one hell of an experience.
All I can say is that I have a lot of respect for indie film makers (looking at you James and Pia). This is up there with the hardest things I've ever done, but I didn't make it easy on myself. I took on the parts of director, sound, lighting, cinematography, set design and pretty much everything else that comes with it... I have never done any of this before, I've always just been a writer.
Not only that, I also chose a location that was 3 full days of driving away, and in the middle of nowhere. Filming was in the Nullarbor, a unique and beautiful part of Australia but it meant battling crazy wind and conditions.
We worked 16 hours one day and 18 the next and were funtioning on almost no sleep. We also had to pick up shots on the morning of the last day because of rain.
Now we move into post production. I'm happy with what we got and while I don't know what the final film will end up like, I do know that the four of us could not possibly have given any more.
We are now on the 3rd and final day of the drive home. I think I'll sleep for a week.
If there are bad typos in this post it's because I'm still a bit delirious... insert maniacal laugh.
Big Congratulations, Warren! I read the email and had no idea you were so close to finishing filming. And the Nullarbor? Did you need to jump through hoops for permission for that location?
You have my admiration.
Apart from looking forward to when it's all sliced and diced, I'm looking forward to reading all about the behind the scenes.
Whew! You really took on the lot. I'd hazard a guess you might not do all those roles next time? Like I said though, good for you, well done, you should be so proud! And I take it you were happy with what you got in the can?
