I've noticed lately a lot of pointless comments made on this board and some one liner replies so I am going to say this... READ Don's rules, I'll post the link so you don't have any excuses.,m=1080786748

A lot of the rules aren't hard to follow so please just give them a once over.

Simple rules to make this board more effective for those who need help.

1. Use the screenplays title in the topic, if it has no title say Untitled (genre of script) if not it will be locked and reported.
2. Don't post scripts that aren't at least halfway done.

That's it, two simple rules have fun and remember I asked you nice and gave you a chance to change it.

Practice safe lunch: Use a condiment.

Just a little bump and clarification to this topic, since people have had tendency to ignore the various comments posted in the actual threads.

Rule 2 means that if you got an idea 15 minutes ago, the script isn't halfway done. An idea is not a "Work In Progress." It's an idea.

If you have a working treatment or are stuck on a particular part of your actual working story, that's cool too. Te board is for help, though, not promotions. Trust us when we say that few ideas are actually "bad." Usually ideas fail in the execution.

So if you're posting your endless ideas, please don't. If you have a Work In Progress that you're stuck on, you've come to the right place.

And title your thread with the title of the script.

"My Screenplay" or "My Series" will get deleted and then you'll have to type it all over again.  There was a time that half the threads on the WIP board were "My Script" or something like that.

Even a working title is OK.  You can change it later.

And if you ain't got a title yet -- well, then you ain't got a true work in progress.  What you've got is an idea in progress.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!
