Folks,

It is with a sad heart that I have to report the passing Tony Gangemi.  He was a member of the boards.  His script, Elf Analysis was a featured script.

He is survived by his writing partner Aimee Parrot.  He will be missed.

If you are on Facebook, more information about Tony can be found on Aimee's Facebook page.

Very sad news indeed.  I though Tony was a great guy.  It must be a tremendously difficult time for Aimee.

I did not know Tony.

From his face book page, he appeared young. What could have come from him in the years to come is a sad contemplation.

He was in love. You can see that from his life story. He wrote with his wife, they shared their talents and passions together. That makes his life here, good time and worthwhile.

He was obviously cared for by some of the members here and for their loss as well, my deepest condolences.

Many people pass with little fan fare or no refection from anyone because they touched no one. Tony touched some here.

Celebrate that and remember him in that light.

I first got to know Tony and Aimee at the NYC Midnight Madness in -06, I believe. They kicked ass and I still remember their entry.

They were also part of the group that became the start of MoviePoet. They were a great writing pair. I always thought it was so awesome to have your life partner be your co-writer.

I believe they have a feature in production. Fighting Belle. I was looking forward to that one.

When I found out what had happened to Tony, I felt sick. I had a hard time to comprehend what had happened. I liked Tony. I liked Aimee and I loved their work.

Even though we were not close friends, the news struck me hard. I can't imagine what Aimee is going through.

Hopefully, Fighting Belle or Car Wash Joey or some other script of theirs will get made and his memory will live on for everyone.
