Well I'm a big fan of SimplyScripts Radio! Someone mentioned doing another episode and I never get tired of listening to you guys.
If you put together a 7WC Pia, my suggestion would be something to challenge people in the area of character development. From the scripts I've read on here so far, that seems to be the biggest issue in most of them.

For what it's worth, I did have a fully-formed 7WC ready to go before you all went off and did the amnesia features last summer. Could dust that off? Or, I think a new Killer game could be a nice, fun thing - especially since only about half of us who played the last one are actually still here...fresh meat!
As I said, I'm up for anything, but if it's a 7WC (7 Week Challenge, rdhay), I've already got my subject matter ready to go, and that's what I'd be writing.
For those who are new here, the 7WC stands for 7 week challenge as Jeff mentioned. The idea is to write a full feature in 7 weeks. It's not a contest! The idea is to help each other write a feature. In the past, we've done this twice, most scripts are either first drafts or early drafts once they get posted here, but they all have great potential and with all the feedback given, they can all be rewritten into something real good.
If we do a 7WC, should we write whatever we want or have a theme or genre to follow? I seem to do better when given an "assignment". Helps me focus. I didn't really like the Christmas idea from 18 months ago, so I protested by writing a slasher/black comedy type thing. Some people really really hated it, but guess what? The people that are making the Seriously Wounded project really really want to read it...you never know what will come out of things. Last one we did (JohnnyBoy) the assignment was chosen because Babz and InkTip were looking for thrillers with amnesia.
Suggestions/ideas for a 7WC?
I like the games too, but that needs someone to "run" it and keep it organized. I'm probably not the best person for that, but if someone else wants to do that, I'm in.
Cool!
And Gabe, of course you're allowed to be part. The more the merrier!!
If we do a 7owc, let's just write whatever we want. I think the whole write on assignment task has been done. Time for a change. My opinion though. And if we do, I'm submitting the end product as is, mistakes and everything. lol.

Agreed. I've got two features in the works, in addition to rewriting my latest short, and wouldn't participate but I would like to see regulars come up with original material. Writing a feature in seven weeks is a feet in and of itself and it'd be nice to see a break from a handful of people essentially writing the same script, what with the OWC and all.
As for it being quiet around here, it is a major bummer. It seems to be standard nowadays. Consequently, I am on full blown vacation and the Internet has been out of sight, out of mind, more or less.
I'd vote for whatever we felt like on the 7WC. Or maybe guidelines that didn't affect, say, genre, so that we'd be sure to have very different scripts.
I'd prefer a set assignment - like Pia, it gets me motivated.
I don't think its really 'fair' if people use a half written script as their 7WC - after all, we frown on people who regurgitate older stuff for OWC's.
If the genre and theme or whatever was cool for me, I'd have a crack. Am gonna do some writing this weekend, resuming on my Beatles short, 'Benedict Canyon'.
I'M FINALLY OFF MY ARSE AGAIN AND INSPIRED TO WRITE!!!
A 7WC without a theme could be fun. I have a really good idea for a script in my head but I haven't written anything in a few years now, and I've never finished anything. I think for me personally it would be a great start. I constantly feel like I have no idea what I'm doing so it would be nice to have that support system.
