James...

Oh man...all 3 of those songs are very similar with no tune and  chord over and over.

OK, check this out and realize that the tune will change many times.. You may hate it, but I'm digging it for the last month or so.

Lol, I actually thought this was a Weird Al Yankovic pisstake in the opening few seconds!

Then I realized it was serious. Oh well, each to his own I guess....

OK, peeps, Tobi and company are back with the amazing new Mystery of Time CD. Truly incredible.

Surprisingly, the first single and video is what they call their version of "pop". Call it whatever you want...I call it kickass new Avantasia!!

YES!!!!  Enjoy and become enlightened.

God, screenwriters in general have a great taste in music... Or maybe it's just you, Jeff

Seriously cool song.

Good to hear, Dan.  Very few share my taste for Eastern European Operatic Symphonic Melodic Power Metal...but more should!

R.I.P. Very sad indeed but the guy undoubtably passed very much loved and supported by family, friends, and fans all over the world. Just check Facebook.

Around the Fur was one of the first albums I ever bought and I think it's one of the only albums of its style that's held up over the years. Deftones have continued to expand and mature over time and will continue to do so with Chi's legacy more than secured.

Amazing how much my taste has changed since I started this thread. Nowadays I pretty much listen exclusively to blues - Joe Bonamassa, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule, SRV, Clapton, Walter Trout, Johnny Winter, Tinsley Ellis, Screaming Cheetah Wheelies, of course the Allman Brothers, add in some Van Morrison on occasion, and I'm just starting to get into Phish.

If I'm in a Pink Floyd kind of mood I'll listen to Blackfield, Riverside, Steven Wilson, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, or Marillion or Peter Gabriel era Genesis.
