I think a good request would be to keep the topics a bit more generic especially as far as politics go. Early rounds had the White House (not so bad) and the final round had some very specific US legislation and locations. I feel in these instances the US writers definitely have an advantage.
Obviously a non-US writer can research all this stuff but it's time which could be spent developing an idea or writing.
But I'm sure you will run it as you see fit
I forgot all about my easily forgettable clown comedy skydiving onto the White House.

A fair criticism and one that I have accounted for.
Fate will decide, as it did last time. No favoritism will be shown. Could be 5 rounds of comedy or you could have not a lick of comedy for the entire time.
I can't commit that sort of time, not to mention the amount of work. I may read a little here and there though. Good luck to those that enter and have fun.
It's back....and this time...it's mad! I can't commit, I promised myself I'd write my first novel this year and I'm exactly halfway through the first draft. Gonna keep focusing on that until it is done.
Best of luck all who enter and I'll check things out when I can.

Your parameters are to write a comedy with at least three characters, one or more of whom have their voices altered by helium, who are discussing the differences between the 1962 Constitution of Pakistan as proposed and the text that was formally adopted. Minimum -3 pages.
I would like to give this tournament a try. Sounds like it will be challenging, and a good writing exercise. Similar to the OWCs, though I like that the time constraint is even shorter. Times like these I'm happy to be unemployed Please put my hat in the ring.
If I may, since everyone is weighing in with suggestions...
I know not all of us have traditional work weeks; however as one of those that do, I found it difficult to get the story idea on a Friday, and then submit the script by the following Friday. Because all my writing time, which was Sat-Sun, was spent coming up with the story...
If we got the parameters on Monday, then we'd have all week to formulate, and then the weekends to write.
