Hi.  So, I was around 5 years ago;   old and retired.  I had read Trottier, Truby and Snyder and all the free online screenplay stuff I could find.   Joined SS, read some scripts and the comments/reviews, when posted.  Didn’t introduce myself then.   Intimidated, I think.
Anyway, I’ve done the contest thing, used a few script review services and bored enough friends and relatives with requests to read my scripts.   I think I’ve finally reached the level of average screenplay writer mediocrity.  I write for fun; don’t we all in a sense.
FUN??  A novice screenplay producer found two of my shorts in the SS archives.  Contacted me and filmed them both.  Submitted them to festivals.   I don’t think there is anything more thrilling than seeing your words come to life.  Simply Scripts is a great site and service for any new writer to get their feet wet and any experienced writer to make the plunge, again and again.

Welcome back, Jake.

I think the old good OWC will make you even happier.

The November OWC will start soon. See the timer above.

thanks for the welcome back.  Can't promise I won't embarrass myself.
The OWC may be out of my league.

Welcome back, Jake!

Two filmed already means you can't be half bad.
More than equipped for the OWC.
