I'd be more inclined to believe that if it wasn't for the Pats takeaway rating. They make teams pay when they strip the ball. And the Texans are struggling in OT against teams not picking them off.
Injuries aside, I think the game will come down to capitalizing on turnovers. It's gonna be a fun MNF tilt!

1) Patriots: Can't really be argued. Could change this Sunday after the Niners game. 2) San Fran: solid all around. Untested QB. Head Coach with limited experience. There will be hiccups. Big chance this week. 3) Denver: Peyton scares me. 4) NY Giants: still do it when they need to. 5) Green Bay: still weak on O line, and defense still vulnerable. But still dangerous. 6) Houston: their defense settled down, but it was too late last night. A second go round could be different. Shaub looked mediocre. Not like he had a bad game, but that he's just not elite. 7) Pittsburgh: if Roethsburger returns to form, they could make a run. Baltimore: if they get healthy and dominant on defense, they can be a spoiler. But they can't reach the Super Bowl. With 3 tough games left, they will limp into the playoffs. No way they will win 3 games in the post season with a weary Flacco and a new O coordinator. This team heading into decline. 9) Seattle: they believe. That's worth something. 10) Atlanta: exposed as the pretenders we all knew they were. 11) Chicago: just not elite. Just can't win big games. Just not going anywhere. 12) Minnesota: one dimension don't cut it.
Sucks to be a Patriots hater in December! Always does.
They looked damn good last night, though. I am very surprised how easily they crushed the Texans. Also shocked that the Texans gave up 42 points.
A lot of came down to capitalizing on early turnovers. Big time demoralizer for a visiting team.
And no offense to that fine Texans squad... But the fact is Schaub just doesn't have that pressure cooker experience Brady does. Schaub hasn't got that comeback mojo like Brady and the Mannings got down cold.
And if the Texans and Pats meet up again in the post, I doubt it will be a blowout. However, we will have the #1 TE in the league back by then.
Even though we can't seem to keep WR's on the field! Edleman last week. Stallworth on IR this week. Looks like Branch is going to get his second re-signing already this year!
