"The history of man is in large part the chronicle of his quest for food," wrote Ancel Keys, an early researcher in obesity.

The concept seems to be circling around hearing but not seeing, with a possible reference to the fog of war.

I don't know what else to say.

It will only make it more confusing!

I will simply say that is not retro futurism and that nothing in the original, or the Queen video relates to content.

Conversely everything afterwards (except references to Brexit in the Martial law post) does relate to content.

Also, one could try rearranging the posts into some kind of narrative order.

Okay, hang on, I'll just get Frank...

Martial law, fog (weather affecting crops),the quest for food, pareidolia /hidden messages (ha! there's irony in that clue).

I'd say: the world going to hell in a handbasket, survival...

I dunno.

P.S. Not in order. I don't want to make it easy for others.

Eh, let’s see (or not with all this damned fog).

The fog and the lyrics to Radio Ga Ga deal with the lack of being able to see.

The fog had effects on the crops that farmers mis-interpreted. Pareidolia is all about mis-interpretations, and farmers are all about the quest for food.

Attack a big problem incorrectly for long enough, it might lead to martial law.

That’s not really clicking together seamlessly for me.

My entry is coming together nicely.

A blind man, hungry for breakfast, stumbles into a London Fog store thinking it's a bakery. Reaching for a "loaf of bread" he bumps his head on a clothing rack. His sight partially returns.

Unfortunately, he misinterprets the incoming images and he misreads a gathering crowd (Queen is holding an outdoor concert) as an invasion.

Here's the twist... HE'S THE PRIME MINISTER... (minds blown)... and he quickly orders Marshal law into affect. The economy crashes and a dystopian future is ushered in.

I think I can do it in 3 pages.

Good thing - cause I think the limit is going to be 3 pages
