I agree that the open parameters make it harder. It gives you a dozen ideas with no clear direction, rather than one idea with no choice.

Can't wait to see the turn out. I'm gonna try to read all of them.  

I guess I'll touch up my first draft and send it through.  I've been using the phone for Internet for the last week.  If this cable guy doesn't get his ass here soon, I might have to submit my script at Taco Bell. I'll get some cinnamon twists regardless.

Just use smaller font.   Btw, is there gonna be a seperate section for pissers like there was the last OWC?

However, Jeff, if you run a couple of pages too long, I doubt Don will dq it. It';s not a comp, remember? Just a challenge! You might get fewer reads though and some people might complain, but who cares. It's all in the spirit of writing something on assignment.

I just kicked back a script that exceeded the 10 page limit.  So, I'm going to have to stick to that.

I made it just under 10. I was shooting for a quick six pager ...but that never happens

Unfortunately, my laptop died on Tuesday.  Between that and my new job, I'm officially out.  Too bad, as I started something I would like to have entered.

Submitted it yesterday, only day when I had time to write the script. Only one thing to mention though, those extra 2 pages would've been absolutely killer to work with, had a lot of trouble trying to saw this down, easily the difference between a good script and a not-so-good one. Definitely not one of my best works but the OWCs are always great fun to enter. Good luck everyone!

I also noticed when submitting the entry, it asks you for the rating. Not sure if this is a new thing but it gives a nice perspective on what kind of feeling your script evokes, and what type of people might enjoy it.

It's hilarious. I vowed at the start of the week that I would get mine done ASAP so I'm not running all over the place like a mad woman's shit at the last minute

But here I am, Friday nite here, warming the computer up to finish it, lol. Luckily I've hand written over half so should be able to knock it off. I still have tomorrow morning (Saturday) to do it too but wanna get it submitted tonite if poss.  Funny how that shit happens
