cheers, jeff

PS that's until you slag off my script and i then hate you

Who, me?  I would never "slag off" a script...at least I don't think I would, as I don't know how to slag off.

You don't have until midnight, sorry to say, bro.

Clock is ticking at just under 31 hours.

Okay, then no bathroom breaks. Where's that bucket...

That rug really tied the room together.

When I write off a character the story gets in the way and doesn't make sense at times.
When the story makes sense - the character is bland, I'm not invested much and I can't expect my reader to like it if the script lacks soul.
But some people do just fine.

Within one week, it's impossible to understand characters' voices, habits, and their past while building a coherent plot that produces entertainment and has any knowlegde of those complicated times we are living in. Best wishes

PIA
Damn, this is amazing...I wonder who wrote it?

KEVIN
Truly the upper echelon in writing talent

DENA
My favorite script I've ever seen!!

WARREN
Brutal, chilling, an instant classic.

KHAMANNA
I hope Jeff didn't write this one, because I hate him, but it sure is fantastic!

JEREMIAH JOHNSON
This is so excellent, it must have been written by another guy named Jeff, and I bet it was a writer from AZ.

STUMPZIAN
I wouldn't change a single thing.  Great effort!

Ha!  I like it.  I'm still in AZ, so two Jeffs from here should be able to come up with something good.  I'm just not good at horror.  I like watching it, just not good at writing it so far.  Glad your in this one.

My Scripts:
SHORTS
Bed Bugs
I Got The Shaft
No Clowning Around
Fool's Gold
Five Days for Redemption

TELEVISION
Father, Forgive Me
Sheriff of Nowhere

Is there a minimum for this? I didn't get that part. 6 pages is not the minimum, right?

Mark, crank out a page, close your eyes, open them and voila you're on page 7. Things like that happen.

I've never tried writing with my eyes closed before, it actually worked! I managed 5 pages, gonna try the same trick tonight to see if I can finish it off

Cheers!

I too was struggling with this one for some time, but I finally conjured up an idea. Here's hoping it's finished by tonight. Good luck all.

I submit early so I can't do that. But then I go back and find mistakes!

Oh, but I've seen some manage that.
And sometimes they rewrite that perfect script for the worse!

Did you write something for this OWC, Alex?

im so rusty i had to check out certain format issues - or may be that's age for you

anyway, a final plea - be gentle, we did our best with the resources available

i think this theme whilst appearing easy is in fact quite tricky to pull off something good.

time will tell

all the best

The Elevator Most Belonging To Alice - Semi Final Bluecat, Runner Up Nashville

It is a tough one, which is why that Aussie arse, Stevie, isn't entering.  He needs lots of limitations, as his mind is about as creative as a turnip.

For me, limitations do exactly that - limit my creative thinking.

I still haven't entered mine, but will shortly.  I HATE loglines!!!  Argh!!
