I usually do most of my reading at work during quiet periods but the fiends have piled extra work on me. I'm struggling to get through as many as I'd normally. I'll keep on plowing through when I can.

Is it just me or are the reads a bit slower than normal?

Last OWC I thought there was a good turn out.

Anyway, back to reading. Looking after a sick child today so I have good motivation

Totally agree!  Reads seem to be very slow...or read turnout is very poor.

I have only 3 more to go...I think.

It could be people misinterpreting the 'read next 5 on the list' message as a max rather than a minimum...

I've read 17. And I may not make it through them all. Jeff... has there been any scripts that you vaguely liked at all? Just wondering.

I've now read and commented on them all.

There are several that I think are good!

So, Jeff -- Which one is yours? I've read at least some of each and not one was free of the kinds of mistakes you would not make. Or did you throw in some orphans to throw us off the track (as you said you did with brackets in an earlier OWC)?

I can't out myself, bro, but I don't see any "mistakes" in the one I wrote...I really don't, as I had plenty of time to read it numerous times.

I wish I could say that peeps love it, but that is not the case, and actually, it's had very few comments so far.

I've been swamped so I'm just now going to start my reads!  I want to try to get to all of them and not just the five assigned.  I think Don put that there just so any newbies in here would at least read that many.  I like to try to read all of them and comment.

My entry suffered from the following:
1. I'm still not that good.
2. I suck at writing horror - so far.
3. Too ambitious for the time I had to write it.
4. I'm still not that good.
5. Didn't get the rewrites it needed before submitting.
6. I'm still not that good.

I think that covers my "excuses" for my entry.  I liked the idea, but just couldn't put it all together and really only had about 2 days to write, but the idea stirred in the old noggin' for about 3 days.

My Scripts:
SHORTS
Bed Bugs
I Got The Shaft
No Clowning Around
Fool's Gold
Five Days for Redemption

TELEVISION
Father, Forgive Me
Sheriff of Nowhere

I didn't enter this so anyone can PM me if they want a review. I read a couple but didn't leave any comments

I've had great comments but only a handful of reviews. I wonder if indeed some are taking the review 5 scripts as a rule rather than I guide?

I've only read a few, but I don't have a script in the game.

As far as the OWC goes in general, I think Don is slowly working on getting the reading and voting, more and more like the way it was at MoviePoet. It was the best and most fair system I've seen. Genius really.
