I think most scripts that got posted late seem to have received fewer reads and the most went to the first ones posted.
the problem is the first lot got posted during the weekend. Most of us have some time available then. As for me the week is completely filled with work. So I apologize for the lesser read during the week. I will read some of the later ones this weekend though. Sorry if I have offended anyone. Even my forum posts are non existent during the week
I do have to say that what I have so far read has given me great pleasure and I have not read a similar story in the whole bunch.
If you find your logline is lacking, put the word penis in there. That'll for sure draw an audience.
Nothing can defeat the penis.

I'm thinking Tony G did Our Time Deserves, and pegged Cindy for Never Let A Good Thing for three reasons; First being, of course, it was very good (and one of my favoriites), secondly it has a chick flick style and feel that I think worked very well for this challenge (which would come from someone who watched a lot of chick flick movies, hence, someone of the female persuasion) and thirdly, Andrea mentions "That's why I'm here and not in Michigan" (where my big dog, the original Black Wolf, is living on a farm up there)....
Sorry Blakkwolfe, That one's not mine either.
I wrote my lyrics first then the script later. I came up with my lyrics after seeing the rat run out in front of me at work... again. Got kind of used to it.

I think redevous is jealous because no one is flirting with him. So I'll make the ultimate sacrifice and offer to flirt with rendevous - if he'll have me, of course.

That's correct. Each story was very different and I loved seeing the talent on display here. It's not all perfect of course and much of it's very raw and unplugged because this is OWC, but it's just beautiful and I love to see people working to the best of their abilities.
I did however, find an interesting similarity between SAVED and PIANO TEARS
They both suffered from what I have now officially termed as Cinderella Syndrome.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then read the scripts and my take on them and post up your feelings on this.
These were very different scripts though in tone. SAVED had the ambulance drivers riding in the early morning-- the break of day kind of feel. And RIGHT! When the day is beginning,
SOMEONE is contemplating taking their life.
I need to digress for a moment because my brother, Wayne, he took his life in the morning; so it touches close to home.
But in this script, we didn't get to know WHY Sadie was contemplating this. I think that's really important that we find out.
Likewise, in Piano Tears,
We didn't find out WHY our AIRPORT LADY had her hardship in love and WHY our protagonist, TONY, had a child and not a wife. Or, perhaps I missed something? I could have.
But these two scripts are valiant efforts. Some of the dialogue that I had suggested to cut-- it's not bad dialogue in and of itself. I just didn't think it fit here. And so, I considered it as being good and solid, but taking up space within the particular context it was placed in.
I think each script has its own wonderful flair. And that's appreciated.
