Congratulations to all participants in the OWC. Unfortunately, I have been busy, but I do have a debt of gratitude for my failure to submit my OWC, 'cos the two characters were just the ones I am missing in a feature - thanks, Don!

Quoted from Sandra Elstree.

The Love That Dare not Speak its Name.

Nope. I’m down in Florida, the retirement capital of the world. I liked all the brit slang, although I’m still lost on some of the translations; I have no idea who Westlife is, although I’m gonna check ‘em out. I did like the script though.

Never Let a Good Thing was one of my favorites...I thought it was Cindy, but nope.

Another hint for mine...

It mentions something commonly found in the kitchen.

And also IMPORTANT

We're still looking for a replacement player for Toby for the Thief screenwriting exercise.

I'd recommend this to anyone. These collabarative exercises are tremendous fun and good writing practice - and this one, with its focus on outlining and backstories before anything is actually written, looks particularly interesting. Michael does a really good job of keeping them running and working together is really fun.

I chose not to commit to it because I'd just done one, I'm trying to crack on with my own project and I'm getting ready for the new uni year, but I reckon anyone considering giving it a try should just go for it; you'll enjoy it.

Guess who's back? Back again?

I'm going to read a couple tonight.

I find it interesting how different we all are. Some people hating some scripts while others love the same ones and vice versa.

I'm impressed this time around with the quality though. Let's see what my next to read will be like...

Brit or not, Dreamscale - The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name.

--my favorite.

Burning House of Love - slapshot. I've read some of your writing...

--another favorite of mine.

Hmmm. Big Geek Wedding has...

Nate puts down his fork and checks his watch...
The waiter sets the plates down and leaves.

In addition, Dream wasn't nuts about it...

I know which Jeff wrote, and it wasn't that one.

Unless you're saying Dreamscale is your favourite, which is a whole other thing,

Yes very different approaches in all of them and unique styles.

I appreciated the opportunity to study all of the scripts.

For myself personally, to compare in study, Piano Tears and Saved were my piece de la resistance in what has been a truly magnificent challenge!
