I've just started reading, but I've noticed that at least a couple of the scripts have the writer's real name listed vs. an OWC pen name. Not that I won't enjoy them and read without prejudice, that's just not the normal OWC rule. Don?
Scripts Available: Christmas Joe (Holiday Drama) Every Time It Snows (Holiday Drama) Happy Holi-DNA (Holiday Romance) Let That Pony Run (Family Drama) With Love, From Romance (Holiday Romance) Essex (Historical Drama)
Shorts: Santuario (OWC Writers' Choice) Death (OWC) Savior (OWC) Christmas At The Piggly Wiggly ...and many more.

One of those may have been mine. I wrote and submitted my entry in the final hour only to realize at the last second I was a page short of the requirements -- I wrote a one-pager -- so I canceled my submission and then posted the story out-of-competition (so to speak) in the thread, just for fun.
However, in the flurry of contest activity it looks as if Don thought I'd messed up my submission somehow -- no surprise in my case -- and restored it to the list, at least for a little while.
My original entry included a fake name, but I dropped that after I withdrew from the contest and then added the story's direct link to the thread. The linked version includes my "real" name, unlike the one I earlier entered in the contest.

There was no rule stating you couldn't write a one pager.
Don't get it right. Get it written.

Not the normal rule, but some writers prefer not to be anonymous which I respect. Some folks enter just to see if they can pull off a descent script in a week, which is why it is a challenge and not a contest. Also, sometimes writers forget. It's a free challenge where all you have to do is read a few scripts to enter.
