Maybe we should mark on creativity/originality too. It seems an important factor. Some of the scripts here really lacked in that department. There's nothing wrong with giving us more of the same, but each story should have something that makes it stand out from the others. The best stories always have that little extra spark of creativity. They feel new.

Agree with this - there were a couple, that although I had some problems with the other criteria, I thought the premise itself was unique.

I swear, if a certain person has entered this one and not reviewed -again! - I'm boycotting future OWC until they are banned lol

I've seen the person in question lurking on the boards the past few days. Taking that as a sign that they did enter.

I didn't really read enough to have any idea who wrote what but I'll throw one guess out there.

Can You Dig It - Al (Britman)

Haha, not mine. I really liked that one though!

My guess is Eldave wrote Draugr.

That was a good shout, Warren.

But if not, Britman wrote The Machine

Two steps to writing a good screenplay:
1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it

I have Matthew Taylor or Mark Renshaw for Jack and the Beanstalk. Could be Dave, possibly. I'm interested to know that one as whoever it is is a very creative and smart storyteller.

PK or Dave for Loyal? I initially thought Britman for this one but it seems to be a U.S. writer unless they were being crafty - 'dumbass', for example.

Amazing challenge. Best wishes to you, Rene.

I couldn’t review them all this time, merely 18. Sorry for that. My laptop crashed and I needed a new set-up. As an esl speaker I need half an hour for one script read and review, minimum, more like 45 min- which is no excuse of course. Most times I complain about the short reading period, not this time, because I couldn’t give a sure commitment that I would be able to read the rest with some additional days given.

I hope it’s okay because I also like to participate when not in.

I wrote my own take in two and a half hours, which is insane for me. As usual, a lot said about it that it’s badly written, and an opposite lot said it is good writing up to very good.
Every time it’s like that.

Ps: I think Gum is Canis - great reviews Gum

Alex, don't worry. You're a proper contributor.  Two and a half hours to deadline? Looking forward to seeing what you wrote.

And re that last line - no flies on you.
