A good turn out. No doubt this is in honour of my return to the OWC!
I will get through them all but I am pacing myself, reading them in short spurts. Started off with a couple but now I'm off to watch the new Venom movie at the cinema so I'll carry on later.

Great turnout guys! I'm about halfway through reading everyone's entries and man: Some. Great. Talent. On. Display! As always though, right? The Halloween OWC is always my fave and this one certainly isn't disappointing so far. I noticed a couple people have commented on scripts being longer than the 6 page limit (at least a couple show 7 pages, not including the one that Don gave a pass as it was written in play format) but does the 6 pages count the title page or is it 6 pages of script max not including the title page? I don't think I've seen this question come up before. Just wondering for future OWCs. Thanks again for all the fun reads. I hope to have them all in, all done by tomorrow. Happy Halloween OWC to all!
Scripts Available: Christmas Joe (Holiday Drama) Every Time It Snows (Holiday Drama) Happy Holi-DNA (Holiday Romance) Let That Pony Run (Family Drama) With Love, From Romance (Holiday Romance) Essex (Historical Drama)
Shorts: Santuario (OWC Writers' Choice) Seven Minutes But This Ain’t Heaven (OWC Writers’ Choice) Buona Fortuna Christmas At The Piggly Wiggly ...and many more.
We expect a good report and review when you get back, Mark!
Well, the first Venom movie was...okay...but nothing amazing. It felt like this was originally a screenplay about a guy developing a symbiotic relationship with an alien that they shoehorned into Venom.
The second movie was dire - so much so I wasn't going to watch the third one until I heard some good things about it.
I'm glad I did. The third one is the best of the three in my opinion. It still doesn't seem like the Venom I know from the comics but I like that they don't take it seriously and just have fun with it. And I had fun watching it.
If you want some great feelgood movies - I would recommend watching Transformer One and The Wild Robot as well.

Excellent! That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks, Mark!
