This one was well written and my favorite so far.

Great beginning, middle and the payoff was great.

I will try to read what I can, but did not have time to participate.

For this early round, most compelling logline goes to The Cycle -- though even that one could be shorter.

If you did not care enough to compose any logline at all, I doubt I will find the time to read it.

I think 'Lost in the Storm' takes the logline award out of these 10 scripts posted.  It attracted me right away and will definately be the next one I read.

On a sidenote, I like 'The Ledger' as best title so far.  Just strikes a chord with me.

Not sure why, but I feel more relaxed about this oWC than before. Possibly, it's the tight criteria which I think many scripts will struggle with. I hope that readers cut the scripts some slack, not too much, when reviewing. After all, most have been written in a couple of days. Compared to the Movie Poet competitions, that's a lot more to do in a short period of time.

I look forward to seeing what all you guys have come up with to meet most of the criteria in some form or fashion.

I wrote a script, had ten minutes to submit it, then got cold feet and aborted.    I wish I would've submitted now.   Did anybody go through something like this?   I actually feel like I need a specialized Twelve Step group to process my emotions.    

Might start a Screenwriter's Anonymous meeting on another thread.    ;(

I wasn't going to participate but the urge overtook me and I started writing mine with just over 3 hours to go... I finished with about 10 minutes left and hated it but I thought what the hell... it's all a bit of fun and a great experience.

I literally had no time to think up a logline. I don't think it matters, if you gave me another 7 days to write a logline, it would suck. I'm terrible at loglines.

Shame you didn't get a script in, Mike.

I brainstormed mine for days, thought I had a decent idea then when I started writing it, it fell apart.  In my head it worked but on paper it was difficult to fit in all the criteria in just 12 pages without it sounding completely goofy.

I spent a couple of hours planning my screenplay the first day, then spent a few hours writing and checking it the second day. A 2 day script for me as I had a busy week with other commitments.

EDIT:  I just figured out my dilemma.   I took such a thrashing from Jwent at the last screenwriter's showdown  that I'm actually second guessing my writing skills now.   I'm really gonna have to get over it and get back up on the horse.

Michael, you disappoint me. I know you have way more skills than I do and I didn't hesitate about entering once (based on my awful script. More about not being able to incorporate everything).

Funny that you guys are talking about the log lines. I never read those. I will attempt to read most of them, but if I come across one that I find really really bad right off the bat, I will not finish it.
