Good job, Tommy!  I still have no clue what's going on though.  Hopefully Johnny knows where we're at.

Umm...

Let me try and work out where we are at this point. I think we need to establish what situation every character is in before I start actually working out what I'm going to write - stop the confusion now.

So.

We've been reset to some point between Doris gouging out part of Mark's neck, and Mark being dragged into the Mayor's office. So somewhere between the second half of turn 9 and the first half of turn 10, meaning the recruitment of Mark and Dennis to the mayor's 'task force', Doris' 'Leatherface moment' and the re-appearance of Giselle have all been ret-conned out of existence. That much I think we can all agree on.

The question is, what things still stand? Between those two moments, the following things happened:

- Dennis went to see the mayor, was told he was in a meeting, and promised to come back.

- Christian revealed to Lovisa that he was her son, the missing Johan, that he jerks off to her sex tapes (which yes, DOES gross her out, Christian), and also told Lovisa about Annika's demise, before she threw him out.

- Christian had his head caved in by an unknown, hammer-wielding assailant, who then dragged him out of sight.

- Dennis met the Mayor, who ignored the fact that Dennis was the one who requested the meeting and instead announces his intention to have him and Mark work undercover to gather information about the killings.

- Doris broke into Christian's house, to find him found carved up in a similar way to Annika. She then brings out the butcher's/sewing kit, and rolls his body over.

How much of that do people think should stand? Obviously I could just make a decision, and perhaps erase all of it, everything from after the moment Doris attacks Mark. Do we keep Christian's murder (I could just be really mean and kill him myself)? If so, do we keep the scene beforehand, in which he reveals himself to be Johan? It would seem opportunistic, and frankly flat-out rude, for me to take the chance to erase the fact that Christian is Lovisa's son, although honestly I'd personally like to do that, or at least write the scene differently. However, like I say, that feels like I'm overstepping the mark.

I think we should work out what situation Christian's in before anything else. Anyone got an opinion? There's no problem with Dennis demanding a meeting with the mayor, although I'm going to consider the actual meeting erased. And I'm not going to have Doris break back into Christian's house. So really. we need to work out whether Christian is dead or alive - essentially, whether everything up to the end of turn 9 stands. Once we've done that, then I'll just quickly recap where we are in the story before I write my entry.

Oh, and one last thing, really for Tommy: Coop pretty much smashed Tommy's face in, and Tommy revealed to Lovisa that he'd been scouting out her wealth, possibly with the intention of conning her. Now, that all happened BEFORE the dream-bit. Tommy would probably have a broken nose, at the very least considerable bruising and swelling. He's also chased out of Lovisa's house by Coop, who runs after him and intends to report him to Hawkins. And yet after he wakes up, Tommy doesn't seem to be in a particularly bad physical state, and he's neither been caught OR reported to the police, since he can wander the streets freely. He's also heading back to Lovisa's house, but she definitely knows he's a crook because she found out BEFORE the dream. Is all that right? Is Tommy in pain, are the police still looking for him, and does Lovisa know about his wicked ways? I'm going to assume the answer to all three is 'yes'.

'Fraid I haven't even thought about what I'm going to write yet! Except I need to explain why Doris appears to have caught a mild form of the Rage virus. Think we need to sort this first, before any more is written.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Christian is definitely dead. I think MC instructed Jordan to kill him.

When I wrote about Tommy getting beat up by Coop, I only had in mind a regular beating. Nothing that would affect him too much physically other than a broken nose, maybe a missing tooth and a busted lip, swollen eye. That sort of thing...  In my mind Coop beat him up because of the house explosion...

Johnny, you did a good job even coming up with these questions, and trying to figure out what is real and what should be considered part of the dream.

Someone smashed Christian's head, but do we know he's defintely dead?  I don't think so.

Is Tommy on the run from the law with a beat up face and alot of explaining to do? I think he should be.

Should there be a task force, consisting of a portly aging comedian and the #1 MMA fighter in the world, who was just in jail on murder charges?  No, I don't think there should be, as there's no where for it to go, and it doesn't make a bit of sense.

It's tough at this point, based on where we've gone, and how we've lost the trail.

Maybe the way back is through circles of manipulation.

Tommy influenced Christian and tried to con Lovisa and tried to get Andrew's money. What would a great con man do now?

We know Lovisa is wise to Tommy and has her ways. How does she feel about her dead twins? Can Tommy do one more grand scheme using the twins. What does Tommy see at Lovisa's?

Doris tries to make everyone on her list see her view of right and wrong -- however off balance. She can go "Hannibal" from what we've seen or dreamed.

Coop and Mark consider using their skillls together and try to redeem their good guy image of themselves.

Dennis can play the joking, portly guy who knows everyone and no one. He can influence the mayor to go to Australia. He can befriend Mark and Coop to a greater extent.

Meanwhile, we have several chapters to kill off two more killers - Christian and Andrew are dead - for now.

Just a few ideas...

I would say that everything up through the end of Jordan's post is real.  Then it's a dream through to the middle of Tommy's post.  It's really good to see you guys collaborating though, keep it up.

I actually LOL-ed at that sentence, as I feel the exact same way. If Mark and Dennis did continue their task force, I was going to have some pretty amusing dialogue with them themselves questioning why the Mayor wanted the task force to be run by a suspected murderer and a drunk who has tendencies to urinate on people's front doors. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board for that piece of dialogue!

THat is quite funny, huh?  I forgot about the pissing on front doors!  Damn, that's really funny. I guess we move into the comedy realm with this new dynamic duo.

I wonder how they'll go about gathering their evidence.  The 1 dude could just beat it out of people, and the other guy could try and laugh it out of them.  maybe the Mayor could put on that wig that Tommy was wearing and go undercover with them?

Don't forget Tommy can't lie because Lovisa put a spell on him.

Also, none of the characters should be bashed up too much, because then, they can't kiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllllllllllll (kill).
