My thoughts on Johnny exactly.

A complete story. Something that won't remain unappreciated.

I love my mug

What is this mug you speak of?

I also have a mug. Hmm, must remember to wash it later. It's been a while. Er, the mug I mean. Not me um. No. I'm going now.

Where is my coat?

R

ps. I found it. It was in the bathroom. The coat. In the bath. Why? I dunno. I'm still looking for me shoes. They'll probably be in the fridge. Oh yes I said I was

MAX MAX MAX MAX MAX

YOU'RE BACK!!  Oh, I've missed you bud!!

I kept asking about you.  How are you doing?  I entered this OWC.  I'm back here on a limited basis.  Pain has been too great, but, I spend a short time on, sign off, and come back.  That's how I have to do it now...

Are you back?  PM me with your private email so we can keep in touch better!!

Dan

Hey,

I'm good man, so thanks for asking.  I'm just checking a few things out here and there, and I do plan to start writing again once I get a new laptop.

You been writing much as of late?

My top 4 were, in order,
Johnny come lately
Erection Man
Mother Nature's Joke
The talk

Max, I'm okay.  I mean, I'm not okay, but, I'm alive and still writing.  I submitted a short for this OWC.  I hated it, but, it got a tiny bit of love, which was shocking.  I am hoping the story that I envisioned (and will be probably 20ish pages) will be much much better.

Dan

Please read my scripts:
http://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-series/m-1427564706/

I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good.  I enjoy writing the same.  Looking to team with anyone!

Thanks
Dan

Flying High

Rated for laughs not story as it was a comedy theme.  Johnny got zero laughs for me funnily enough lol.

Flying High Again
FM
Johnny Come Lately

1 and 3 for the overall quality. 2 for the laughs and the type of humor attempted. Most of the scripts were too light and goofy for my taste.

I also voted Johnny as my number 1.  It wasn't the funniest, or even the best story.  But what I appreciated most was the work that the writer obviously put into it.  Really felt like multiple drafts went into that one.

1. Mother Nature's Joke -- visually funny. I can't stop thinking of that hamster ball.

2. SuperMick -- witty dialogue, good punch lines and, of course, SuperMick flying off at the end was hysterical.

3. The Talk -- not the funniest or even that funny, but it was pleasantly humorous and was the most human out of the scripts.

I didn't vote for these scripts, but I thought they were good as well -- Flying High Again, Animal Magic, Altered Ego's and FM, which I felt had potential but just needed to be fleshed out and handled a bit differently to bring out more of its humor. Actually, some pretty disturbing subjects came up in that script.
