I thought this may have been you... but there are a couple of good writers, like Stevie, that are possibles too.

I don't know any of them for sure though, and that's how I prefer it. I'd rather be completely honest. If I know who wrote it, then that will affect how I respond. It's only natural.

True, that. After all, that's why we keep ourselves anonymous as part of the challenge. It forces people to give a more honest opinion.

My one has done pretty well this time around. Probably the best feedback I've received from any OWC. I already have changes in place for when I do another draft. It's definitely one I want to stick with, and there could be a market for it out there.

Anyway, I've a few more left to read. I've really enjoyed this challenge, some great entries. Congrats to all, and a massive thank you to all the readers who have given feedback. Y'all're t'best!

I did enter and it seems like I missed you having a 'go' at me

For the love of god, this hasn't been a good day, let's just put it down to newborn baby and sleep deprivation. I was reading one of your reviews but was having a go at Dreamscale, got your names confused. For the record though:
1. I haven't any beef with dreamscale, he was in the right.
2. I haven't any beef with you Equinox, you actually gave me a really good review so definitely no beef there
3. Much like a vegan butcher I haven't acruelly got any beef, full stop.

Right I think I've embarrassed myself enough for one day, where's my bed..

And now you're having a go at beef - disgraceful, poor cows.

I was sure Glenn wrote SuperMick. Anybody that can describe a small town in County Mayo has to be from the old country and it wasn't me.
So maybe someone that has visited a few times, my powers of deduction tell me.... JAMES!

I think people will be surprised at what I wrote.  I kinda went outside my comfort zone.  By a lot.

This has been an interesting OWC.  I hope we can do superheroes again one day, but, have it done right (more then a 6 page limit).

Dan

NO!!  Please, no.  No more superheroes...unless of course, we're referring to the awesome song and vid by Edguy.

I didn't know you like them.  I have one song from them that's pretty good.  Do you like that kind of metal?  I love that power metal with guys that can really sing.  Wow, that's cool!!

Jeff, for hating this challenge so much, I'm near-flabbergasted at your review of my script. Sooooo much better than I was expecting. I pretty much took a mediocre script and ruined the ending with the final draft so it made no sense. On top of that, I haven't written a short in two years, so I'm rusty, but I have been experimenting since then with precisely the kind of writing you hate (unfilmables, asides, etc.). This was the perfect storm yet apparently not the worst script you read in this OWC. I continue to be at a loss of what makes you tick.

He liked mine too.  I was pretty happy.  Did I like yours James?  You can PM me and I'll read it again and give you a deeper breakdown.

He definitely hated on mine. I'm just surprised he didn't hate on it more. Frankly, I think it deserved more hate. I don't read Jeff's reviews the way I read others though. I'll take what I can get.

Yes, my fave genre of music is European melodic metal.  Fave is probably Avantasia, which is basically Tobias Sammett's (Edguy lead vocalist) all star metal operas.

well I'm glad I didn't hate on everybody's script.  In fact, I think I actually praised a few...and read a bunch from start to finish, although most were out within a couple pages.

I think I've read them all now, so if I missed anyone and they give a shit hat I have to say, let me know.
