That's precisely why I leave a rec or a consider now in each thread that got one. When the voting form comes, I click the link on each title and scroll to my comment. Last OWC I forgot to do it and inevitably forgot which scripts I really liked. I had to try and decipher it from my comment, which wasn't ideal at all.
Be interesting to hear how others cope with this. I've heard some write things down on paper. Maybe others use their own spreadsheets.
That's always been a problem for me as well. I too seldom decipher anything from my comment - suppose I said I liked the script - that maybe either consider or a recommend.
I do it old-fashioned way - I look up the script itself (I have to open it and start rereading), only then I remember. Good thing - I do have a good memory and picture a script right away.
I wrote each one down on my phone. After I read it I either marked it "good" or "pretty good," the latter being the better of the two. One I gave a "potential" to. Very scientific.
No, Khamanna. I was gonna give three recs, but one really stood out for me. Definitely wanna give that a rec. But there will be three top scripts chosen, or so I believe, so maybe I should give three recs. Not sure now. And the one with potential was a decent story, but one where I felt the writer really missed an opportunity to make it funnier. I liked it, but not as much as some others.
This was a very fun challenge. Obviously we should do this sometimes again - 6 page comedy I mean. Thanks, Sean.
I wish Kham, I wish. Alas, This hasn't been my finest hour in terms of OWC.
Re voting I keep a note of each. I usually start off with a reminder comment to myself of what the script dealt with, but by the end I've turned into the devil and just give a thumbs up for good, down for not. With speed comes brutality. Yet each time I try to remind myself to read better and make more notes - but I don't

What I do, when I enter a script, is write down each title as I read and give it a 1 - 5 star rating.
There are rarely any 5 star scripts and only a couple, at best, 4 star ratings. Several will get a 3 star rating, and the majority 1 or 2. If a script is downright horrible out of the gate, it gets ZERO stars.
If I have a tie at the end, in terms of stars, I'll go back and remind myself which was the stronger entry.
I think the most recommends I've ever given was 2, and maybe 3 or 4 considers. Usually, 1 or 2 scripts stand heads and shoulders above the rest of the dreck.
I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good. I enjoy writing the same. Looking to team with anyone!
Dan, you never responded to my in-depth notes I E-mailed you. Did you get them?
Sorry about that. I've had a bad time, the last 4 days, I'd spend 5 min on, and then jump off. I wanted to take some time to talk about the PM. And we also have to talk about music that we have in common. I'm sure you can add to my interests and I might be able to add to yours. Foreign music is usually passed word of mouth.

I noticed we don't scream out our picks anymore. Maybe I missed something - did you all decided its unfair practice or anything? I mean I don't object - it would be good to know if there's a collective stance on it or something.

The email provides links to the threads and scripts so I click on each one and read the logline, for me this triggers the memory of the script, what I thought of it and it becomes obvious if it’s a rec, con or complete no-no.

One recommend from me, which I remember and noted in my review of the script. A handful of considers. I'll browse through the scripts when it comes time to vote and see how I'm feeling. There were only three or four scripts I thought were outright terrible. Voting shouldn't be too hard.
